Taiwan Nomad Visa Launches

Taiwan officially launched its new digital nomad visa yesterday 🥳

This visa aimed at remote workers will allow holders to stay for six months. Requirements include the following:

  • a minimum salary of $40,000 ($20,000 if under age 30).

  • bank deposits averaging at least $10,000 over the previous six months.

  • proof of health insurance.

Note that this visa is distinct from Taiwan’s existing Gold Card, which caters to a more exclusive group of foreigners in skilled occupations.

Airbnb’s Trending Destinations for 2025

Digital nomad hotspots are getting hotter than ever, which is why we predict that there will be spillover to lesser-known locales in 2025.

Airbnb recently released its list of destinations with the biggest increase in search activity in 2025 vs. last year. Some of these names will be familiar to Nomad Deals readers (we flagged a few of them in 2023 and 2024), but remain under-the-radar for many digital nomads and world travelers.
