A new analysis from Hopper shows that average flight prices for September and October are down 30% compared with earlier this summer.

For bargain hunters, this “shoulder season” — where temperatures remain pleasant and prices are relatively low — represents the last major opportunity to score deals before prices rise again for the winter holidays. Compared with the peak vacation months of June and July (and later, December), airfare prices during shoulder season tend to be significantly cheaper.

This year, travelers can save a whopping one-third on travel to the United States and Europe by booking in September or October. Check out the full chart from Hopper below

Best Shoulder Season Flight Deals

Now that we’ve covered the benefits of traveling during “shoulder season,” where can you find actual airfare deals for this fall?

For most U.S. cities, the cheapest overseas flights can be found to popular digital nomad hotspots in Latin America. A standouts include Chicago to Cancun ($95), Dallas to Mexico City ($91), Los Angeles to Guatemala City ($62), and Boston to Bogota ($105).

Across the pond, some of the best bargains can be found on routes such as Los Angeles to Paris ($136), Boston to Barcelona ($234), and Miami to Oslo ($170).
