The Best Airbnbs in Lima, Peru for the Summer
These 14 nomad-friendly stays are still available
Happy Fourth of July, for my fellow American gringos.
Meanwhile, in the other America — South America, that is — Peruvians will celebrate their own independence day in a few weeks. Despite the political turmoil, life in Lima continues mostly uninterrupted. Even so, easily-spooked gringos have fled the tourism scene, making travel to Peru far cheaper than usual.
I combed through 15 pages of listings to pull out every digital nomad-friendly apartment in Miraflores. Here, we review the best units still available for long-term stays during the summer months.
Neighborhood
Miraflores is often touted by digital nomads as the best and safest neighborhood in Lima. Most would agree that it’s far less dangerous than the wealthiest neighborhoods of Colombia or Brazil, though the usual rules about safety in Latin America still apply.

The kitchen isn’t much either, but hopefully you won’t be cooking much in one of the great food meccas on the planet. Previous guests praised the location and the host.

Personally, I always travel solo. But if I was traveling with a companion, the Airbnb would def need two bedrooms, two workspaces, and two bathrooms so I don’t experience the olfactory pleasure of that person’s #2 fumes. Fortunately, this Airbnb satisfies all those needs. One reviewer commented that “you get a lot a for the price,” which certainly rings true compared to alternatives in this price range.
