The Best Time to Buy International Flights

A new study by CheapAir.com reveals the best times to buy international flights in 2024.

Much depends on your destination. The cheapest tickets to Mexico can be purchased approximately two months in advance, while flights to Europe are best bought more than ten months out.

As to the best days for travel, the analysis found that Tuesday and Wednesday departures generally save the most money.

Icelandic carrier Play Airlines, which launched less than three years ago, wants to get your attention with super cheap airfare.

Until March 1, you can snag one way flights from Baltimore, Boston, New York, and Washington D.C. to Paris, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, or Dublin.

Asking price? Just $129.

The deal is available for flights departing between March and May 2024, or from September to December 2024.
