Slovenia to Launch Nomad Visa

Slovenia is hopping on the remote work visa bandwagon.

The government recently announced that it would launch a new digital nomad visa, with November 21, 2025 as the target date.

The visa will be valid for one year, open to all applicants who work remotely. The exact income requirement isn’t specified, although the government indicated that the amount will be equivalent to “twice the average monthly net salary in Slovenia” (currently €1,600, or $1,850 according to the country’s statistics bureau).
